The OA-O detector is an interactive addressable optical smoke detector certified in compliance with the European standard EN 54-7, EN 54-17 and EN 54-18.
OA-O is able to detect the presence of smoke in the air thanks to the infrared light reflection by smoke particles (the phenomenon is known as the Tyndall effect).
The OA-O smoke detector uses the Tyndall effect to measure the light scattering on the smoke particles entering the analysis chamber.
Smoke detector is sensitive to smoke and dust and it use for detecting smoke.
When the detector detects smoke, it sends a signal to the control panel and panel activates the alarm.
